Established in April 1998, Grange Castle was the first undertaking by the South Dublin County Council's Parks Department into golf course development. The course was designed by Patrick F. Merrigan, whose pedigree extends to courses such as the Old Head of Kinsale, Failthlegg and Slieve Russell. Owing to its excellent condition, fine greens and fantastic golf holes, Grange Castle Golf Course quickly established a reputation of quality and value.
The Par 72 course has been developed to championship standard and measures just under 6,800 yards off the Blue Tees. The greens have been developed to United States Golfing Association (USGA) specification and have been the subject of much praise from visiting golfers and societies since the course opened.
Set amid the backdrop of the picturesque Dublin Mountains and beautifully designed with 7 lakes and a number of streams running throughout, Grange Castle Golf Course continues to mature in to a top golf destination.
